Went out last weekend with

and shot around Mercer Arboretum.

There was wonderful light
when we arrived
and all these beautiful
spider webs on the flowers
and plants!

The fog eventually began 
to break up a bit at the 
surface of the water.
 
But up where the pelicans
were flying, it was still very thick
I wonder how they see
where to fly in 
the fog!

This is my favorite shot from the trip.
My friend gave it the title
to submit it for critique
by the photography teachers at the program.
They loved the story it told.
I do too!

The title works for both the men fishing together,
as well as the pelicans fishing with the men.

Daffodils were in abundance!
They were called jonquils in ATL,
but here in Texas, like Missouri
where I grew up,
they are know a daffodils.

Creating a new series to showcase
some images I took at FeatherFest 2015
in Galveston. 
 
My friend and I were there 4 days,
and it was overcast and rainy the whole time!
 
It made photography quite a challenge,
but all the birders seemed to 
still find the birds
they were looking for
during the big migrations
 through Texas.
