Late Summer at the Lake

Late Summer at the Lake

Judy Wilder Dalton

It was a late summer day that we were driving around the county roads of Wood County, Texas.  This was taken off a pier at Lake Hawkins, Texas.  I love the way this invites you to take off your shoes and dip your toes in the water and watch the clouds roll over head and through the reflections in the water.

I spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon enjoying a nature walk
with friends. We have a nature trail called the waterfall trail
near my home. Love finding these little treasures that delight
the soul.

A piece from my Zen Moments portfolio, Friends In The Garden series.

A cold morning in February,
right after an late night thunderstorm.

Bugs were out enjoying the
breaking sunshine, the dewdrops
and the warming weather.
Even with insects
some can sing,
some can't.
